Spain's Arantxa Sanchez-Vicario has been forced to withdraw from her Fed Cup Final match against Daniela Hantuchova of the Slovak Republic today due to a muscle strain in her right leg. She has been replaced by Magui Serna. Under Fed Cup rules Sanchez-Vicario is still eligible to play tomorrow. She will undergo another another medical examination tomorrow to determine whether she will play.
