David Hodgson has revealed that he would like to keep experienced defender, Curtis Fleming on the books at Darlington. Hodgson, however, has a difficult situation on his hands. Having previously revealed he is after four new signings in pre-season, Quakers boss, David Hodgson has been faced with a problem in offering a deal to cultured defender, Curtis Fleming.

'Hodgy' is reluctant to offer a deal to Fleming currently as he is anxious not to over-spend on his wage budget, the result of which would be limiting the number and quality of players he could potentially bring to the Williamson Motors Stadium.

It's another case of 'Watch this space'.
