Koumas rescues point for City and Crewe are down.

Jason Koumas scored a second half equaliser to give the Bluebirds a share of the points at Gresty Road. The result confirmed Crewe's relegation down to Division One along with Brighton and Millwall.

David Vaughan gave Crewe the lead with a 25 yard spectacular strike after 58 minutes, but Cardiff broke down the stubborn Railwayman's resistance when

Jason Koumas scored an equally impressive strike with a "curler" past Turnbull in the Crewe goal.

Cardiff City manager made a couple of changes but resised the tempatation to blood any youngsters, giving starts to one or two senior fringe players...
