Martyn Margetson has agreed a contract with the club, and is now officially a Bluebird! Margetson had been with Cardiff on trial since the start of the pre-season campaign. Goalkeeper, Martyn Margetson has signed a contract with Cardiff City, and has officially joined the club.

Margetson has been with the Bluebirds during the pre-season on trial, and has impressed both Lennie Lawrence, and goalkeeping coach, George Wood.

Margetson was named in the PFA Division Two team of the year last season, after a superb season with Huddersfield, in which Margetson played every league game for the club.

The former Welsh Under-21 and Wales B International will push Alexander all the way for the Number 1 'keeper spot.

Meanwhile, Mark Walton will take up post as 3rd choice 'keeper, in what is likely to be his last season with the Bluebirds.

Who do you think should take the Number 1 slot? Talk about it on the messageboard.
