Bluebirds fans should know who will be sponsoring the Cardiff City shirts for the 2002/2003 season within the next week. The South Wales Echo has reported that there are three companies in the running for the shirt sponsorship, including last years sponsor, Ken Thorne World of Cars. Yesterday's South Wales Echo reported that there are three companies in the running for this seasons shirt sponsorship.

They are, last year's sponsor, Ken Thorne World of Cars, Specsavers (possibly could help out with certain referees!), and Vodka Kick. Ken Thorne has sponsored the Cardiff shirts for the previous two seasons.

Vodka Kick sponsor a few other Nationwide League teams.

Hopefully, the club will announce the new shirt sponsor within the next week or so, and the new kits will go on sale on August 17th.

The first opportunity to see the new shirts will be in the friendly match against Wolverhampton Wanderers at Ninian Park.
