The date for Cardiff City’s Football League match against Millwall has been announced. The Bluebirds will make the trip to London for a game that had previously been postponed due to the Lions’ F.A Cup tie on Wednesday April 7th. Cardiff City will play Millwall at the New Den on the 7th April, 2004. The match had to be previously postponed due to Lions’ participation in the F.A Cup, and the Football League a while before confirming the new date.

The match is only a few days after Dennis Wise’s side play Sunderland in the semi-finals of the great competition with the match taking place at Old Trafford. Victory for the London club would see them face either Arsenal or Manchester United in the final in Cardiff and would guarantee them a spot in next season’s Uefa Cup.

Wise has done a tremendous job at Milwall and the amazement of many the club currently harbour ambitions of promotion to the Premiership, as well as F.A Cup glory. They were 3-1 winners at Ninian Park earlier in the season.
