| Tony Vidmar came on as a
substitute for the last 30 minutes in Australia's 1-1 draw with Venezuela in
Caracas. Former Bristol City striker Paul Agostino gave the Socceroos the
lead on 18 minutes, but Juan
Arango equalised with the last kick off the
game to put a damper on Vidmar's long journey. After flying half-way around the world for a mid-week international friendly, Lawrence might consider dropping the former Glasgow Rangers defender for Saturday's First Division match against Sunderland. It would be nice to see James Collins start at the heart of the defence, but we all know Lennie won't play the Welsh under-21 international. |
