Cardiff City's striker, Robert Earnshaw has been linked with a big move to Premiership giants, Liverpool. His dream international career has given the 21 year old links all over the place.
Tuesday night saw Robert Earnshaw have the dream start to his international career. And now, just a day later rumours have been flying around about him moving to a Premiership Club. A few name have been thrown up, including this years European Cup Quarter Finalists and Premier League Runners-Up, Liverpool. Earnie has insisted, his future is with the Bluebirds.
After a dream start to his international career for Robert Earnshaw, links have been thrown up of him making a big move to a Premier League side. The biggest name thrown up are giants, Liverpool. The 21 year old though, has told the South Wales Echo his future is as a Bluebird.
"I'm happy with Cardiff City, I don't want to go anywhere. Unless Sam Hammam and Lennie Lawrence say they want me to go, I'm staying at Ninian Park.
"Cardiff City is the club to be at right now and, after missing out this time, we are all intent on earning automatic promotion next season." Earnie told the Echo.
Robert is currently contacted with Cardiff for a further four years and is apparently in talks with Hammam and Lawrence for a better deal at the club.
It does look unlikely at this stage that Earnshaw will leave, due to Hammam recently saying that the club isn't a selling club. It would surley take a large amount for Hammam to agree to the deal, and it is unlikely a big club would risk a large amount on a player who is unproven and only playing in Division Two.
People do think that Earnshaw would benefit more from playing at a higer level with better players around him, but from what Earnie has said it doesn't look like he's going anywhere yet.
