"Forget Cup Tie" - Lawrence
Lennie Lawrence has warned his players to concentrate on the league, and not set their mind on City's League Cup clash with West Ham United in September.

The City boss has been quick to squash any hype surrounding the fixture, which is being shown live on Sky television.

When asked his opinion on the League Cup draw, Lawrence was quick to announce that the draw didn't bother him, and wouldn't until the league fixtures before the tie were out of the way.

"I'm not remotely interested in that game until two days before we have to play it. I've got enough to think about without having to deal with Carling Cup matches. said Lawrence

"We are struggling early on, and people are getting excited about cup games! Dear oh dear, talk about a mistake in priorities."

The Second Round tie will take place on the week commencing the 22nd of September.
