Cardiff humiliated by Barnet in Carling Cup

Only 3,300 Cardiff fans turned up for this Carling Cup tie, and the missing thousands made the right choice! David Jones got it all wrong by playing a virtual reserve side which insulted the fans who had paid up to £14 to watch the game, plus it gave Barnet the tie....

If this is an example of ourstrength in depth, then we'd better hope that we steer clear of injuries. We were awful on Tuesday night against a Div 2 side who thoroughly enjoyed their deserved win.

The last said the better. We have lost out on a money spinning tie in the next round and a possible lucrative cup run, plus the most loyal of fans ( those who went to the game ) have been well and truly let down.

Well done Barnet - you deserved the round of applause tou received from those fans left in the ground at the end of the game.

It was an awful performance by City, truly awful.
