WICB Announces Twelve Member Squad for India Series

Seems a bit surprising that they would name such a small squad for the four Test series, especially at home. Also no place for Shai Hope the only centurion in the first warm up game.
The West Indies Cricket Board has announced a 12-man squad for the four-match Test series against India with the first Test to be played in Antigua from July 21. Uncapped all-rounder Roston Chase, who had a successful domestic season was included in the squad to be led by Jason Holder.
Opening batsman Leon Johnson, who last played a Test in January this year was recalled to the side. Shai Hope, who scored a century against the Indians in the practice game at the Warner Park in St. Kitts was left out.
The new-ball attack will be shared by Shannon Gabriel and Carlos Brathwaite with Holder as another option, while leg-spinner Devendra Bishoo will lead the spin attack.
West Indies squad: Jason Holder (captain), Kraigg Brathwaite (vice-captain), Devendra Bishoo, Jermaine Blackwood, Carlos Brathwaite, Darren Bravo, Rajendra Chandrika, Roston Chase, Shane Dowrich (wicketkeeper), Shannon Gabriel, Leon Johnson, Marlon Samuels
