The ICC Hall of Fame seems to be nothing more than an old boys (and a few gals too, for good measure) club that seems quite out of touch with the World Game today.  How else does one explain the predominance of Australia, England and West Indies in the Hall, with only three Indians and no Sri Lankans?  And each year the new inductees don't seem to be any different.  The two most recent inductees are Debbie Hockley of New Zealand and Bobby Simpson of Australia who join Adam Gilchrist and Waqar Younis as the class of 2013-14.

Derek Underwood there but no Bhagwat Chandrasekhar...

David Gower there but no Alvin Kallicharan

Graham Gooch there but no Gundappa Viswanath

Chandra is a particularly galling omission...he has taken nearly 250 Test wickets including 95 English scalps...with 35 in one series and of course the game winning 6 for in the second innings of the famous 1971 Oval Test to bowl out England for 100 odd... and of course Viv Richards was his bunny...
