SHEFFIELD UNITED have failed in a £1.5M bid to land Wolves Striker Kenny Miller according to reports. Miller has just 6 months left on his current Wolves contract. New Page 1

Sky Sports News today reports that Sheffield United have failed in a £1.5M bid to land Wolves striker Kenny Miller, despite the Scottish International having less than six months remaining on his current contract.

Miller has rejected three offers of new contracts from Wolves due to the striker wanting to "keep his options open" and it has come to light that the fee from the promotion hopefuls had been rejected.

It is likely that it was Kenny Miller who rejected the offer from Sheffield United as it would be crazy for Wolves to reject £1.5M for a striker who's contract would run out five months later.

It is believed that Scottish giants Rangers are interested in Miller and interest has also been shown from Hearts and Italian side Roma.
