 Wolverhampton Wanderers today announced the news that the first Premiership Signing was imminent. 

 Wolves have agreed terms with Ex-Arsenal Right-Back Oleg Luzhny and hope to have him singed before the end of Monday, once he has passed his medical.

 The 34 year old is on a Free-Transfer after he was not offered a new contract by Premiership Runners-Up Arsenal last season.

 Talking to WOW Dave Jones said "Oleg is the current Ukrainian national team captain and it just shows how far we have come that we can attract a player of that calibre"

 "The deal is subject to Oleg passing the medical but if everything goes ahead he will be a great addition to the squad."

 Luzhny is apparently very happy to be able to stay in the Premiership and his Agent, Sandor Varga, told the BBC Oleg is very happy with the news, He wants to stay in the Premiership.

"We are still negotiating the actual contract, but everything could be arranged very soon. The length of the deal has yet to be decided."
