Author: Scott Cooper Wolverhampton Wanderers chairman Sir Jack Hayward is to finally be granted the Freedom of Wolverhampton. Something Fans have been campaigning for, for months. It is one month today that Wolves reached the Premiership and as any Football Fan would know, none of this would have been possible had it not have been for Sir Jack, infact had Sir Jack not purchased Wolves all those years ago, Wolves might have lost everything and could have gone to the wall. That superb day in Cardiff was all made possible due to Sir Jack and he was rewarded for his loyalty by watching Wolves gain promotion at Cardiff, but Sir Jack will now be granted the Freedom of the City of Wolverhampton. Speaking to WOW, Sir Jack Said, "I am delighted and honoured. I have always been very proud to have been born in this great City and I am grateful to the people of Wolverhampton for giving me the recognition."
