New Contract For Gaffer

Wolves Manager Dave Jones is to be offered a new contract after he managed to do the impossible, if you have been asleep for the last 24hrs, Wolves are in the Premiership.

When asked if Dave Jones would be offered a new contract, Sir Jack Hayward said to the Express and Star ""Yes, yes, of course."

Sir Jack Added 

"When I went on the pitch I said to him 'well done, thank you very much.'

"He has done absolutely fantastic, he really has.

"He has made tremendous signings, and he has inspired the team - he has done great."

Dave Jones is believed to be on £140,000 a year and has 12 months left on his contract but he will be offered at least double that now he is a Premiership Manager.

Sir Jack also believes Wolves should follow in the footsteps of Birmingham - which would mean the "Golden Tit" dipping into his pockets once more.

"It's going to be a very busy summer, very much so but for the right reasons because we are a Premier League club now thank God, and we can look again up to the heavens," he said.

"We need to stay there and consolidate, like Birmingham have.

"They have consolidated, made a £6.2m profit and done the right thing."
