Paul Ince classes the Wolves promotion charge as a "personal challenge" and believes the revival in the last four months could be the key to success.

Saturday will be the first taste of Play-Off action that he will ever have been involved with and is in great form having made 42 appearances for Wolves this season.

Ince, who received his award for being named in the top 11 "home" players of all time to play in the Premiership on Sunday is hoping that the superb form since the turn of the year, which includes just two defeats in 21 league games believes the great run Wolves are in may help their Promotion push.

Ince told IC Birmingham "Since Christmas we have just got stronger and stronger as a team and we are feeling confident.

We don't want to be counting any chickens and we know we have a professional job to do on Saturday and then in the second leg.

"But we are on a good run and, while the play-offs can be a lottery, we are quietly confident.

"It is my personal challenge to see this team promoted and it would be fantastic if we could do it in the first year of trying."

Ince today has also hinted that he may hang up his boots come the end of the season.

Ince told the Sun

"I don't think I'll be playing next season.

"I know Merse (Paul Merson) has said he's playing on but, at the moment, I don't think I'll be joining him.
