Match Thread: Wolves v Brighton & HA 5.10.25 2pm KO

I am unable to write a match introduction this week, however Wolves have another go to break their premier league winning duck on Sunday afternoon at 2pm. Brighton have been our bogie team for some time, but so many Wolves supporters will be keeping everything crossed for a reversal of fortunes and the 3 points following encouragement versus Everton and Spurs. Good luck to the team.

Strand Larsen starts which is a bit of a surprise as I thought he was injured/unfit.
Doc out injured so Jackson Tchatchoa starts. Johnson maintaining his position between the sticks.
We seem to be getting to a situation where the team selection is a bit more settled so let's hope that it brings some improved results.

Sounded like an even game and Brighton are never easy opposition.
Must admit I thought the substitutions were strange, almost as if we were happy to settle for a point. Late goals seem to be our downfall recently, pity we seem unable to hit the back of the net more effectively.

Down to vitor that, terrible game management from him 2nd half taking both strikers off and just sitting back and inviting pressure all half.
Absolute joke, it was just a matter of time before Brighton scored we hardly got out of our half.
Vitor has put pressure on himself after that and he only has himself to blame.
So frustrating watching that.
Lose at Sunderland and he is gone.

Agree with Essington there. Terrible tactics. Taking off a forward and bringing on a defender with 30 mins still to go defending a one goal lead? Inviting pressure and losing an out ball. And once they've equalized we haven't got a forward on the pitch to hopefully get a winner, although Arokodare did come on but that was in injury time. Rubbish defending on the corner for their goal too. On the plus side, Krejci once again outstanding and rightfully mom. Johnstone played well and a fantastic save in the second half, although some of his distribution was a bit iffy. Apart from the corner from which they scored, Tchatchoua played well. Munetsi was unlucky to have the goal put down as an og, although technically it was. He plays much better in midfield that in the attack but for a big lump he doesn't take much knocking over. Finally, that referee was bl00dy rubbish, and talk about card happy!
