Wolves travel to Elland Road, Leeds tonight for their first Premier League encounter with newly-promoted United. Two teams, led by well thought of coaches within the game will both have three points as their objective, in order to establish themselves in this season's league.
This will surely be a much tougher game than when the teams last met duing Wolves Championship-winning season of 2017-18. On that occasion Wolves came away with a 3-0 win. This season Marcello Bielsa has moulded a much praised team, which has been further strengthened during the transfer window. It also has former Wolves star Helder Costa as a regular member of the team these days.
Many Wolves players have been away on International duty during the recent two week break, which has restricted the amount of preparation time available to Coach Nuno Espirito Santo, however he has been concentrating on bedding in the new Wolves players and involving the under 23's squad. Nuno has declared Marcal fit to play, so it may be a quite different looking team tonight from that which started the Fulham game two weeks ago.
Tonight's game will kick off at 8pm and will feature on Sky's Monday Night Football programme.
Our referee will be David Coote - fresh from the controversy of his role as VAR Referee in the Everton v Liverpool match at the weekend!!
This board will hopefully carry regular updates on the progress of the game, and members are encouraged to post their own observations for the benefit of those unable to watch it.

Why was Podence deemed to be interfering with play even if he was offside when it was a Saiss shot from distance
