The time we have all been waiting for arrives today with the return of Wolves to the Premier League. Our first game of the 2918-19 season sees us welcome Everton to Molineux
Manager Nuno Espirito Santo is hoping a huge and enthusiatic home crowd at Molineux will help Wolves achgieve their first win of the season at home to big-spending Everton. It will be a big afternoon for both teamsd with many new additions to their respective squads and much anticipation amongst the fans.
Molineux Way board members should feel free to add their observations of the match to this thread, as i will be in a pub watchinmg the game on BT Sport at 5:15pm and opportunities to conduct a 'commentary' may prove difficult.

I am pleased to say that I will be at the match. Come kick-off time the nerves will be going like the clappers but right now I am feeling confident of a win for Wolves.
The long awaited return to the Prem.
This first match should show us how far we have come and what our current shortfalls may be.
Am inclined to think that this game will end as a draw.

I would take that going in as well.Premier match is always hard to predict and Everton I think is supposed to end season above us..taking their transfers.
We breathe again.We are back were we belong and starting year three of the ten years project on a high.
Personally,I will be happy with lower midtable obscurity this season.Let´s beat Micks best ever finsish of fifteen and let´s build together from that.
Come on you Wolves.We all know this is the single best football club in the world.

Wolves have settled well and playing better football so far although a slip bun Boly just gave them a chance!
Not much going our way so far. Ball broke their way from free kick for their goal
Great run by Jimenez but he runs out of room!

We have everything going for us looking towards second half.
There is small margins..Toffes 0-1 and Jagielka with a little bit of missed ball control.
We got Neves.What a beauty of a freekick.

Half time 1 - 1. Wolves have had more possession & looked the better team but struggled Tom out together meaningful attacks in front of goal. There will be a lot of debate whether Jags should have been sent off or not - it was a reckless tackle after losing possession & studs were up. We need to push on now & take advantage of our extra man

We look fairly comfortable seven minutes in second half...me sitting and waiting for the winner.

All over & finished 2-2. Great game & fair result but we should be OK in this league!!
Well I'll settle for that for first match - it's a long season and a point will do for starters - shall watch MOTD for the first time in ages!
Overall a fair result. With rules as they are these days the sending off was correct but have to give Everton some credit, playing with 10 for a hour. On the plus side, Neves looked class although he has played much better and Jiminez was quite impressive. On the other side, that was the worst I've seen Boly play and Costa and Jota were not their usual level but credit to all for coming back from a goal down twice.
