Return of the Fantastic Four – Assault on the Cottagers

Okay, so my attempt at a play on some comic book heroes making a big screen comeback is somewhat found wanting. I can’t deny that. It’s a fair cop guv!!
But my point to bemade is that there is now what appears to be a glimmer of shining light withregards to arguably four of our best players returning in time for SundaysShowdown against the boys from Fulham, incidentally didn’t Wolfie support themor is it a different one?? (some may get that reference if they show theirage!).
Yes, with Kites making his comeback bow in last night’sreserve game against West Ham and the return to full training of SEB, Foles andJody. MM has a pleasant headache and probably one he was hoping for givenSaturdays abject performance. So some good news … or is it?
If all four were to come into the squad for Sunday, whowould they replace?
Kites (if he started, although I doubt it) would be areplacement for Halford, no real qualms there apart from losing out on a potentiallypotent weapon, especially with new arrival The Hoff.
SEB, well would Keogh be dropped in favour of him? I thinknot. Doyle? No chance IMO. And would he even get ahead of The Hoff right awaywith his debut goal offering optimism for his Molineux future?
Foles versus Stears! Stearman has played reasonably well inFoley’s absence and I feel it may be harsh to drop him straight away so benchduty for Foley to start with?
And Jody. The one that so many right off year after yearonly to come back and show he is still arguably our best centre half!! CouldBerra be dropped after only one game? Who knows.
But then another argument would be who would they replaceon the bench if they don’t start?
For me, SEB would replace the likely to be loaned outVokes. One headache gone. Kites for Jones would leave us with Surman andEdwards covering central midfield.
Where would you put Foley and Jody? Or for that matter Castillowho also had a decent outing against West Ham reserves??
SEB will lead us why are people talking about dropping hennessey??
I agree SEB, i did think he was at fault for both the West Ham goals on the opening day but i think he has been a big player for us so far this season and has done well, plus i think he is the best we have at the moment. I'd like to see Murry there but got to get his fitness sorted.
So it wasn't down to terrible marking that we conceded against west ham. It was his fault nobody marked noble 25 yards out. Suppose it was his fault blake didn't put away his one on one with green. Get real will ya, how many mistakes have all the outfield players made this season? I'll tell ya hundreds so get off his back

Dawson, im sticking up for the guy, i thought he was to far off his line for Nobles goal and im sorry bad marking or not for the second, if the ball comes in your six yard box then it should be the keepers, it went over his head for god's sake. Im not saying he is a bad keeper because i DONT think that for one minute, just think he still got some learning to do.
Unfortunatly if you make a mistake as a keeper 9/10 times its in the nett, as a midfield player you can make mistake and get away with, unless your names Karl Henry!
Should hope he has got some learning to do, how old is he? He's got years and years of learning but at the age he is he's a cracking goalkeeper and doesn't need to be dropped for maybe 1 mistake this season and thats debateable, what will that do for his confidence.

I totally agree with you Dawson, great keeper for his age, got no arguement there with you.
