Wolverhampton Wanderers put their promotion charge back on track as they eased past Hull City with a dominant and well deserved 3-1 victory. After two setbacks to promotion rivals, Wolves returned to winning ways against Hull, as Jay Bothroyd netted twice, and Olofinjana rammed home a header. Nicky Forster bagged a superb individual goal at the expense of Gary Breen. It was to prove scant consolation for Hull who sit uncomfortably positioned outside the relegation zone, Wolves now find themselves 5th in the league, with a rapidly dwindling Preston side, and an even more swiftly improving Stoke side breathing down their necks.
