PLAYER RATINGS: A game of two halves. The first could have seen Wolves five down at the break but a decent second half should have at least granted Wolves a point. But who did we give man of the match to?

Murray - Barnsley boss Andy Ritchie can't understand why he's not playing for England and nor can we. Another superb performance from Murray. Helped keep score respectable.

Edwards - Murray was beaten twice all afternoon. One landed in the back of the net and another was cleared following a superb last minute lunge from Edwards.

Breen - 7/10 for Breen. He's one of those players who you know you will get a decent performance. He didn't disappoint.

Craddock - The poorer of the two centre halves. Distribution not the best, one effort landed on the Oakwell roof.

Little - An 18 year old right back playing left back. We can't really understand it either, but Little has done a great job whilst out of position. Will be good to see him at Right back.

Potter- Played in his favourite position of central midfield. Sprayed the balls around nicely but Wolves missed the composure of Henry.

Olofinjana - Man-Mountain in midfield. A decent strong performance for the new and improved  Olofinjana.

Gobern - His first ever start and it showed. Didn't look strong enough and had little impact. Will be better coming on from the bench for the time being. Definitely one for the future though.

Ricketts- Like the rest of the side, Ricketts had a mare of a first half. However he was one of the better performers of the second half with neat skill and decent crosses.

Johnson - Like Ricketts he was poor in the first half but great after the break. Should have scored on at least two occasions but shot at the keeper.

Bothroyd- Not fully fit and it showed. Bothroyd looked jaded and un-interested however this was probably from a lack of service. Replaced at the break.

SUBS:

Clarke (Bothroyd) One of the best Wolves players when he came on. Looked strong, great first touch and played with purpose. Unlucky not to score.

Cort - (Gobern) - Could have scored but shot straight at the keeper. Caused the Barnsley defence a few problems but not as many as he should have done.

Mulgrew (Edwards) Replaced the injured Edwards. Got a bang on the head for his first touch but looked assured during his short spell.
