Two games in two days was too much for Mick McCarthy's young Wolves side. A first half Steve Howard goal conflicted a second defeat on Wolves.

Murray - Seems to make at least two class saved a game and this game was no different. Tipped one over in the first half and made a superb save after being rounded by Lupoli

Edwards - The goal came down the Wolves right. Edwards struggled with the trickery of Lupoli

Breen - Breen did alright but looked tired. Helped restrict Derby to just a few shots.

Craddock - Distribution wasn't as effective as it has been in recent weeks. Not a bad performance but can do better.

Little - First ever league start for the 18 year old. A right back playing at left back. Distribution wasn't the best but that can be expected. Will get better and can be a big player MOTM

Potter- Potter seemed to be fouled every time he touched the ball. His passing was neat and came close with a free kick near the end.

Olofinjana - Should be better in the air for his size but played the ball well on the deck. Fouled for the penalty.

Henry - Henry is up there with Breen for player of the season so far. Makes time on the ball with quick footwork but needs to learn to hit he target.

Jones - Tired towards the end but is currently enjoying his first ever run in the first team. Deserves to keep his place.

Johnson - Ran and tried hard, but not his day. Should have scored following a neat back heel from Bothroyd

Bothroyd- Hit a 25yrd screamer straight at Byfield. Penalty was poor. Jay scored a 30yrd screamer on Sunday but missed from 12 yards two days later

SUBS:

Cort (Bothroyd) Didn't look at all dangerous and continued to run out wide when he should have been in the box.

Ricetts- (Jones) - Looked bright when he came on and had two shots saved whilst a third smashed against the base of the post with the keeper beaten.

Clarke (Henry) Wolves went 4-3-3 near the end and put Derby under huge pressure. Leon failed to test the keeper.
