PLAYER RATINGS - The Player Ratings from the 1-0 win over Luton Town. Who will we give the man of the match award to?

Murray - Fans will be nervous as the giant goalkeeper limped off ten minutes from time. Commanded his area really well and his distribution from his throws were second to none.

Edwards - Made one terrific block from Carlos Edwards near the end. Assured performance from Edwards who is more than capable at this level.

Breen - A really terrific signing by Mick McCarthy. McCarthy's mate was solid as he has been in every game so far this season. Contender for MOTM in every game he's played in.

Craddock - Brilliant in the air. Is forming a great partnership with Breen and mist take credit for the last two clean sheets.

Clapham - His best performance since signing from Birmingham. Looks really comfortable at left back and linked with Daniel Jones really well.

Potter- A really neat player. Never tried anything too difficult and plays it simple. Will get better and will be an important squad player this season.

Olofinjana - Superb performance from the big Nigerian. Should have scored but controlled the midfield. Was a huge miss last season and if he can perform like this each week it will be clear why Jones spent £2M on him. Man of the match.

Henry - A real find by McCarthy. Looks after the midfield, plays the ball well and makes time for himself on the ball. Big player for Wolves,

Jones - His third start in a Wolves shirt and he looks like he's been playing in the first team for a while. Likes a tasty challenge and puts in some great deep crosses.

Johnson - Took his goal really well. Played well with Cort but you can't help feel he would be better with Bothroyd. Two winning goals in two games - and all for a nominal fee.

Cort - Didn't offer too much of a goal threat but could have scored following a deep cross from Jones. Was decent in the air and flicked some nice balls on.

SUBS:

Ricketts - (Potter) - Looked bright when he came on and showed some nice touches. Could have scored but his shot stung the hands of Beresford

Ikeme (Murray) Making your league debut as a youngster in the final ten minutes of a game your team are hanging on to win isn't ideal but Ikeme did well. One decent punch and his kicking was strong.

Clarke (Johnson) Didn't deserve to be dropped and was only given a few minutes. Gives Wolves a different option.
