FORMER Republic Of Ireland International Mark Kennedy has become the latest player to join the Molineux exodus. The former Vice Captain today signed a deal with Crystal Palace.

Mark Kennedy's 5 year relationship with Wolves came to an end today after the former Republic Of Ireland International signed a new deal away from Molineux at Crystal Palace.

The former Vice Captain - who captained and scored in his final appearance away at Norwich City last season - signed a two year deal at Selhurst Park (with an option of a third) after rejected a deal to stay at Molineux.

Kennedy was terrific in his first few years at the club but following a move to left back forced by former boss Dave Jones the former Manchester City man lost form. Mark then went from one of the most attacking players outside the Premiership to one of the most defensive following Glenn Hoddle's conversion from attacking winger to holding midfield man.

The 30 year old will be fondly remembered by the Wolves support for his stunning displays and goals during the 2001/02 and 2002/03 seasons in which Kennedy's superb performances were capped by wonder goals against Newcastle United in the FA Cup and possibly the most important goal of his career - the opening goal of the 2003 Play Off Final in Cardiff. Kennedy made 157 appearances for Wolves, scoring 12 goals.
