The latest news in the Pizzonia saga is that he will be racing with jag until the end of the season. It is thought that Jaguar decided against paying a reputed 2 million pounds for Wurz "I'm okay now until the end of this season," Pizzonia said.
"The team told me yesterday, and basically they said they had made a mistake and let's carry on and make progress."
Jaguar managing director David Pitchforth says "It's all been a bit of a storm in a teacup really."
Mclaren boss Ron Dennis made the following comments about the proposed Wurz deal, whilst negotiations were still occuring
"We were approached by Jaguar"
"They did not wait for a response before approaching Alexander, which was not particularly correct in our opinion.
"We have discussed it, spanning the last two weeks, and we have always had a policy with regard to our third driver that we would never stand in the way of his racing career.
"Myself, Norbert Haug and Martin Whitmarsh have considered our position carefully and have made a proposal which could see Alexander leave and go to Jaguar.
"It is for them to decide whether they accept it or not. We have fully involved Alexander in our position."
"Of course, there is money involved. But it is not a huge sum, and it is only representative of our investment in Alexander and not profiteering."

One wonders whether we've really heard the last of this.
