Coming off a series of mixed results the Atlassian Williams Racing Team goes into this weekends 202 Brazilian GP hopeful of turning around their results. But given that it is a Sprint format weekend the team and drivers are limited in terms of their practice track time. Both Carlos Sainz and Alex Albon are keen to run on the famous Interlagos track, but they are also mindul of the variable weather conditions that may have an impacty across the weekend. But the overall hope is to see an improvement over previous races.

2025 Brazilian GP Preview

Carlos Sainz:
Heading to Brazil for what will be another Sprint weekend, I’m looking forward to driving around this iconic track where anything can happen. Being a Sprint, we’ll be limited on practice sessions, so we’ll look to get up to speed early on car setup. Sao Paulo weather always plays a part across the weekend, so we’ll look to capitalise on any opportunities we can. The Brazilian fans are so passionate about F1, so it’s always a great week with a lot of support!

Alex Albon:
In the gap between races we've been busy debriefing everything as a team in order to get on top of some of the issues we’ve experienced in recent weekends. This will be especially important in Brazil as it’s a Sprint with only one practice session. With limited track time, we’ll go back to a more familiar setup approach and run less experiments than we have been doing. Interlagos is a great track, I always enjoy the old-school elements and driving here in front of the passionate fans. We’ll need to be agile and prepared for the unpredictable Brazilian weather across the weekend. There are just four races remaining, and I'm looking forward to finishing strong and hopefully adding to our points tally!
