June 26 2025

Returning back to Europe the Atlassian Williams Racing Team moves to the Red Bull Ring for the 2025 Austrian GP. After some frustrating races of late the team is hopeful of turning things around on a track that should suit the FW47. Both Carlos Sainz and Alex Albon are excited for a return to some good form at this event. This year the race weekend will be a normal format while in 2024 it was a Sprint weekened so hopefully this will give both drivers more time to develop their setups.

2025 Austrian GP Preview

Carlo Sainz:
I’m looking forward to Austria for what will be the start of our next double-header. With Austria being a Sprint event last year, we had to really hit the ground running. However, this year I’m looking forward to having the Free Practice sessions since there is a lot I still want to try with my FW47. This track could potentially suit our car, so we’ll do our best to deliver a strong weekend for the team and our fans!

Alex Albon:
I'm excited to get back into the European leg of the season at a track that should suit the FW47 well. We've brought some good learning's from recent races and the team is working well together, which will hopefully help us this weekend. Our focus is to get back to a good run of form with some strong points in Austria.
