The Saturday practice for the 2020 Turkish GP would commence under damp conditions with drivers running on the intermediate tyre but as the session progressed heavier rain would start to fall. This would see both Williams Racing drivers George Russell and Nicholas Latifi come out on the full wet weather tyre but both drivers would pit after a single lap without setting a lap time. The rain would continue to fall and would become even heavier such that neither Williams driver would return in the session ending with no lap times recorded.
