Shakedown test for OrangeArrows next week

The OrangeArrows test team have return to a chilly England and are getting ready for a 3 day shakedown test at Silverstone next week. The team are scheduled to be at the circuit next Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday prior to packing the A23 chassis' ready for the trip to Australia. The team had a positive test at Barcelona last week, with both Enrique Bernoldi and Heinz-Harald Frentzen maintaining a second fastest lap time position all week. The test team also conducted some straight line testing at Vairano.

According to F1-live.com, the team are pleased with progress so far and their test programme is running on schedule. "This was all routine stuff and the new car made steady progress. We've been getting through all the necessary homework," a team spokesperson has been quoted as saying.

Both Enrique and Heinz-Harald are due to be at Silverstone next week, shaking down the 3 A23 chassis that will used at the 2002 season opener in Melbourne.
