Will a ProstGP buy up offer a chance for Jos ?

The best hope ?

With so many rumours flying around at the moment about options for the outcast Jos it's almost impossible to separate the possible from the fantastic. The latest concerns a possible move by Craig Pollock to buy up what is left of Prost, and relaunch the team with Jos as a possible driver candidate. The BAR fan site on Rivals.net broke the Pollock/ Prost story today. In summary it revolves around a quote from Pollock that he wouldn't be away from F1 for long, and that FIA President Max Mosley has publically agreed that he could see someone buy up the Prost kit and claim their place on the grid. In addition, Autosport magazine recently reported that the value of Prost's assets wouldn't amount to more than £500,000 - not enough to clear the team's debts, but easily within reach of Pollock's pocket. With an Italian support offer for the old Prost organisation still open this story has some solid foundations.

What if Pollock bought the Prost assets and got the team funded, retaining Ferrari as engine supplier. When the team is launched, perhaps keeping the old Prost name, the team race in the Prost colours perhaps due to an FIA ruling. OK so Pollock throws his hand in completely with Ferrari, but with Jacques Villeneuve as your best mate putting a team together based around World Championship winning technology is a good move.

Would Jos Verstappen join this team ? I think so !
