ERE Fantasy League - Week Seventeen

The Six Nations are over (thank god I hear you cry, unless you happen to be of French or possibly Irish heritage) and that means time for the final transfer window in the ERE Fantasy League. But first let's take a look at the league table.

This week I thought it would be interesting to see which teams were the winners and losers during the Six Nations campaign.

The top scoring teams during the six nations were: 

1. Masa's Maulers 429 pts
2. Champagne Rugby (manager: Le Mond) 407 pts
3. Dorset Boy’s Boys 2005/06 406 pts
4. Merovingian Monarchs (manager: Ade1865) 404 pts
5. The Oozalum Birds (manager: Gussie) 397 pts 

Despite this decent run Masa's Maulers have just managed to move up one place, creeping into the top 10.  The worst tacticians amongst the fantasy managers were TallRugbyGirl and David Richards, scoring just 199 points between them.

The top climbers during the six nations were: 

1. FBs XV (manager: Frome Boy) 17 places
2. Scrambled and Poached XV (manager: Stir Crazy) 14 places
3. Time for Bed XV (manager: Matt Clark) 12 places
4. Wilkos toenail (manager: Kev) 12 places
5. Cap’n Wobblers Wuss Wonders (manager: Hywel ) 8 places

Well done to all in the top 5, but particularly Frome Boy and Stir Crazy who had the temerity to pretend, she didn't know what she was doing!  At the wrong end of this scale: Ken_jnr and Crippsy, hold your heads in shame, and make amends by putting in a good performance in the MMM2.
