......Shame really as we could have started a march, but never mind there's still 12 games to play. Glawster and Saints suffered from the "Bah, Humbug!" attitude of their respective opponents.  You would have thought the ghosts of Christmas past might have taught them a thing or two.

All the internationals return to action this week.  Merry Christmas lads.  The transfers  have been made.  Let's see what affect this has had on the league.

Gamblers Choice is  the first and only team to pass the 1000 point mark in the league so far this season, congratulations.  Ade and his Merovingian Monarchs get the highest score this week with some familiar faces not far behind (Dorset Boy, Masa, Bath Fan Jack and Gussieboy), well done chaps!  For once a Brizzler is at the wrong end of the scoring mini league, hard luck KB.

Finn's Giants for the second round running is  the highest climbing team.  And after some strategic subs Wilkos toenail have changed their fortunes around going from being one of the worst scoring teams last week to a high climber this week.  PG Tips needs to give his team a  roasting as they have slipped 7 places down the table.

Briz still lead the way in the allegiance mini-league, with Bath in hot pursuit.

Wise man of the week is Olly Barkley with 25 points coming from a win, 3 conversions and 5 penalties.  And our much maligned Molly Malone managed a marvellous match (couldn't resist the alliteration!) by touching-down twice.  Peter Richards becomes donkey of the week by getting himself binned.
