The Night Before - Week Two

So here we are in Week Two of the Guinness Premiership and after a plethora of away wins last week, I can't see the same thing happening this one. Let's have a look at my predictions. Tadpoles vs Sorries

Sale struggled a bit last week, but I can't see the same happening at home. Saracens have decent strength in most places, but lack a bit of cutting edge in the midfield. I'd expect Hodgson and McAlister to be far too much for them. Prediction: Sale 4 Sarries 0

Brilliance vs Glaaaaawster

Glawster were humbled at home last weekend, so you'd expect them to come back firing at Bath this weekend. Except it's at The Rec, so they won't. An absence of centres, worries at 10 and serious questions in the tight five, a trip to Bath is the last thing they need. It's still a local derby, it should be close, but Bath. Prediction: Bath 4 Glaws 1

Sequins vs Brizzle

Bris got crushed at home to Bath last weekend, just a individual bit of brilliance by Lemi kept the scoreline competitive. Quins had a good win against Sarries, a home game against Bris and a quality and cutting-edge backline should see a comfortable victory. Prediction: Quins 5 Bris 0

Tigers vs Irish

Both teams should be confident from cracking wins against championship competitors last week. Tigers at home though? A step too far for Irish. Prediction: Tigers 4 Irish 0

Newcastle Relegateds vs Sinners

I think Saints are a good team and Newcastle are destined for relegation. That will be as much as confirmed in week two if they can't scrape a win at home to them. I can't believe they can't at least pull this out, especially with His Wilkinsoness back. Don't expect many similar predictions. Prediction: Newcastle 4 Saints 1

Pests vs Wuss

I'd not really like to be on the end of a bollocking from Shaun Edwards. If I were, I think I'd try pretty damned hard not to be on the end of another one anytime soon. Wuss were a bit unlucky to lose at Saints, but still looked pretty rusty and Adams Park is not the place to bounce back. Prediction: Wasps 4 Worcester 0
