Saracens v Harlequins preview

The new season has nearly begun and on Friday night it will be our first chance to watch our beloved Saracens team in the heat of battle. I, for one, cannot wait and have been looking forward to this match since it was announced.
Mr Kafer has got a tough choice on the selection front, though. Does he play our strongest team against Quins and a 2nd team against Bedford or a put a few 'big' names in the side to face Bedford to secure victories in both fixtures?

Your guess is as good as mine but i think Kafer will set out to win both games, with our strongest team to face Quins, but still putting out a strong team against Bedford.

Harlequins recently faced Bedford at Goldington Road and were not very impressive at all. Boasting an array of first team players including British
Lion Dafydd James, new fly half Jeremey Staunton, new scum half
So'oialo and new prop Maurice Fitzegerald. This is to add to a lot of other 1st team regulars including Mel Deane and Simon Miall.

Another question for kafer is who to select at fly half. Will he stick with
Mark Bartholemeusz or go for Nicky Little, or even give young Ben J Russell a start? Not forgetting our very own Thomas Castaignede, but I think he will start at outside centre.

I think it should be a very exciting match to watch and will give we Saracens supporters our weekly fix of rugby that we have been sorely missing.

I personally think saracens will win by about 15-20 points but it all depends how our new Saracens squad performs and if we tire in the last 10 mins ( as we did againts the Golden Lions last Wednesday). But we will have home advantage and won't have the problem of playing at 2000 metres altitude.
