Murphy not named in Ireland Squad

Tigers supporters will be happy in some respects to know that Geordan "Golden Child" Murphy has not been selected for the Ireland Squad to face Australia. Back from injury only two weeks ago it is not entirely surprising that Eddie O'Sullivan has chosen to leave him out, although certainly the injury does not seem to have affected him in the slightest.

Although it is a shame for Geordan it is a relief for Tigers supporters who can look forward to his dazzling skills whilst other members of the team are away with England.

Geordan will no doubt be looking for some good performances over the next couple of weeks to try to press his claim for inclusion in the later autumn internationals.
