Well its that time again after the fanfare of the 6 nations its back to the Zurich Premiership. you know .... Z-u-r-i-c-h P-r-e-m-i-e-r-s-h-i-p, the league we are competing in? I know its been a long time between games - too long!

We are 4 months into 2003 and this is only our 4th competitive game of the season; not good. Still, you only have to look at the relative positions of the teams, both this year, and with respect to where Leeds were this time last year to cheer yourself up a bit!

Last season both teams went into this game knowing that they had to win to ensure Premiership survival, this season Leeds are sitting at the giddy heights in a top 6 position, and pushing for a top three finish to guarantee Heineken Cup rugby next season, while the Quins with all their talent seem again to be struggling to fire on all cylinders.

Don't be fooled its going to be easy though - with the Quinns visiting on Friday this will be our 3rd game against them this season with the score tied at 1-1.

Leeds will be buoyed by the fact that Mark "Ronnie" Regan has commited himself to the club for 2 more years which shows how much faith he has in Phil Davies and the Tykes. Although Scott Benton has been released this week, Leeds have excellent cover at scrum-half in the varying shapes of Derek Hegarty and Alan Dickens.

Harelquinns will be coming with their England players, Greenwood and Leonard, looking to extend their recent away form. Their "recent" win over London Irish will have given them an extra boost.

SO make no mistake - this will be a hard fixture for the Tykes, as the Quinns have lot of experince to call upon, with the likes of Leonard, Greenwood, Vos and Burke.

So all you Leeds fans - get your shouting trousers on, its gonna be a great Friday night out!
