The new Sale shirts will be properly unveiled at the press day next week, but here is a sneak preview of the home shirt design as featured on webiness.co.uk. Is there some mistake? Or is our home kit really going to be black? Garfster spotted it in a Bourne Sports catalogue and the online sports shop webiness.co.uk are carrying this picture of the new home shirt:

A very plain effort with not a suggestion of the traditional hoops. The stripes down the side are red, white and blue which is nice and patriotic I suppose. Perhaps this is the bit that is meant to represent the whole north-west of England. The shirt in this picture is black, and that is a dramatic change from the blue that Sale are associated so strongly with. It would be surprising if the blue had been dropped, though Garfster reckons the away shirt is blue.
