Richard Martin-Redman is just 1 of 10 Shoguns to get a call up to the England U21s South squad to face France West U21s in November. Four of his fellow pack members are selected along with 5 of the backs.

It's an even split between forwards and backs with 5 forwards and 5 backs named in the 23 man squad to face France West U21s on November 13th in Marcoussis.

Starting with the forwards, current U21 skipper, Matt Styles is selected along with fellow back row members Richard Martin-Redman and Matt Bourne. The Shoguns also have two front row forwards selected in hooker Tom Lambert and Chris Rowland who plays mostly at hooker but can also hold hos own at prop.

Rowland has been a regular on the first team bench this season following the knee injury to Neil McCarthy and Styles got his first senior call up before the Quins game last week which was unfortunately called off.

Moving onto the backs, half backs Paul Hodgson, Danny Gray and Ross Laidlaw are selected. Paul has also made the first XV squad on occasion and represented England in the U21s World Cup in the summer.. First team squad member Duncan Hayward, who signed a professional contract in the summer, is also selected as well as winger James Bailey who has been a regular try scorer for both the U21s and the United this season.
