Why did you choose your board name?: Used to be John the bike (as I was christened by an ex-colleague (Welsh of course)) but I’m told it makes me sound like a slapper, so I changed it. Oh, by the way, I enjoy cycling.
How long have you been supporting Quins?: A few years but only regularly since I moved away from Richmond!!!!!
How did you start supporting Quins?: Always been a fan of the great game and decided to support Quins ‘cos they were nearest.
If you play(ed) rugby what position did/do you play?: Through my school years everywhere, except hooker. Ended my playing days at inside centre.
Best ever Quins game: v London Irish St. Patrick’s weekend 2003, plus anytime we beat the Tiggers
Favourite off pitch Quins experience: Undoubtedly the Beziers trip this year.
What is the most ridiculous rugby related thing you have done?: Trying to get Quins supporters in Beziers to make a decision on what to do next!
Favourite Ground (after The Stoop): Madjeski, for the craic. Kingsholm for the atmosphere

Least likely to say?: No, I don’t want a Guinness, I’ll have a Murphy’s instead.
What are your non-rugby pastimes?: Cycling, walking, furniture restoration and cycling again.
Favourite Film(s): My Fair Lady, by far. After that, the Philadelphia Story, His Girl Friday, anything with Audrey Hepburn, anything with Katharine Hepburn and Spencer Tracey and, more recently, Leon.
Favourite TV Programme(s): Rugby and old films. Also David Attenborough’s “Life.. ” series.
