I've just got back from a cracking night. Only about 25 people turned out, but Brian was on top form. Some very honest and forthright opinions were made. He even had a pop at Ugo's form with England. He was very convincing and is an excellent talker. So glad I went. One book goes to No.1 son, the other goes out to Tobago in a couple of weeks for my mate's wedding/birthday!

One of the founder members of the Q-GOMC (promoted to Major Grump) – and proud of it - Bah!
I'd like to claim credit for making Brian put his head in his hands when I mentioned Steve Borthwick, but since Brian was doing that a lot anyway I can't.
I agree it was a very good evening and Brian was on his usual good form but the turnout was disappointing probably not helped by the 7pm kick off time.
He admitted that England's performance were making him feel depressed he added that at the England - Argentina game he asked at half time whether he could go home but the BBC would not let him!
This is supposed to be the first of a series of similar Sports evenings at The Stoop with plans to bring Jimmy Greaves and some England cricketers later in the year
There was two on the table at the start of the evening but Julian gathered them up and walked away with them. I think he may have forgotten to return them.
