After just 5 minutes, Harlequins wereholding the upper hand and consistent off-sides led to two James Loizospenalties, and an early lead.
After 15 minutes the first try came. Asthe Quins packs drove forward from 10 meters out, flanker Toby Douglas dartedout of the side and went over. The home side looked comfortable with a 13-nillead. The remainder of the first half saw the Amateurs waste oppotunities andThamesians provide little but defence.
In the second half, the home side quicklyscored through Will Wessels, after almost every Quins had passed the ballduring the move. The lead was now comfortable, however Thamesians were given abreak as first they converted a penalty and then three Harlequin players werestruck by injury, leading to flanker Wessels playing on the wing. The last playof the game saw Thamesians run a try the length of the pitch but it was merelya consolation score.
