One of our 2005 summer series is a supporters 'If you could', the series continues with Clonmel - don't go near his feet, whatever you do! Throughout the off season we plan to learn a little bit more about many of our 'Usual Suspects'

Relive any 'non-sports related' moment in your life, what would it be and why? Six month sabbatical when I travelled round the world - apart from the Greyhound bus trip from LA to Mobile, Al. - chance to see different cultures and experience how other people live - especially in Alabama !
Enjoy a 'champagne moment' again in your career which one would it be and why?

Haven't really had a career to speak of ( unless you count 15 years penal servitude at Commercial/Norwich Union ) just a series of work related incidents which have contrived to keep me in Guiness and LI shirts
Enjoy a 'champagne moment' again in sport which one would it be and why?

Apart from the obvious LI moment - finishing the London Marathon - very emotional - was running for the British Heart Foundation in memory of my mum who had shuffled off the year before. Was fillled with self doubt as I had never attempted anything so tricky before - so much so that I even had £50 sewn into my shorts in case I collapsed and had to get a cab home.

Has anyone ever told you that you look like Jimmy White ?
Be a celebrity for the day who would you be?

Abhor the cult of celebrity - but could be persuaded to be Jenny Agutters husband for a day - actually a couple of hours would do !

Be a sports star for the day who would it be?

Neil Back - for the day of the Leicester/Munster final - would have taken myself off at half time !!

Have dinner with 4 people from the past or present who would they be? Isabelle Adjani - Denise Van Outen - Isabelle Huppert - Kelly Brook - Sod the conversation - I am a very shallow individual.
Witness one event from history what would it be?

The French Revolution
Go back in time and give advice to a 13 year old 'Clonmel' what would it be? Fall seven times, stand up eight
Win any sporting event in the world what would it be?

The London Marathon
Try out a new sport what would it be?

Snowboarding
Have one extravagance what would it be? A chauffer
Only ever eat one meal again what would it be? Bacon,cabbage,fluffy spuds,parsley sauce
Live anywhere else in the world where would it be? Anna Maria Island
Support any other Rugby Club which would it be and why? Purley John Fisher - club I played for

My uncle edited the black and white classic Whiskey Galore and the Goons first film - The Mukkinese Battlehorn
See into the future what do you expect to be doing in 10 years time?

Living on Anna Maria Island for six months of the year - being a rugby tart for the other six.
Only ever drink one drink again what would it be?

Tea - cannot function without it.

My socks.
