Ross "re-joined" the club on a short term contract from Cambridge University. He was a non playing substitue for his first involvement in the GP Wk 16 game against Wasps but made one hell of an impact in his first actual appearance on the field when he came on against Bath in the GP Wk17 game, scoring a try and getting the convertion after it.
