DINNER DANCE RESERVATION

 

Please reserve me ….. places for the London Irish Supporters’ Club Dinner and Dance at The Royal Berkshire Conference Centre, Madejski Stadium, Reading on November 9th 2002.

Notes:

1. Timings – Arrive 7pm for 7.30 pm - Finish 1.00 am (bar closes 12.30).

2. Dress code: lounge suit (black tie optional).

3. Menu: Millefeuille of Salmon and Monkfish on Salad leaves with Tarragon Vinegar Dressing and Roasted Cherry Tomatoes;

Breast of Guinea Fowl braised with Madeira Panacetta and Butter Beans, Celeriac Rosti Potato and Braised Red Cabbage;

Classic Burnt Lemon Tart with Berry Yoghurt ice cream;

Continental Coffee and Chocolates.

4. Wine. See attached list. You can order in advance by sending the form directly to the Royal Berkshire Conference Centre or simply order on the night. Advanced orders are strongly recommended in the interest of serving time and efficiency.

5. Non member? Lapsed Member? A Supporters’ club membership application form is attached. Why not join up/renew for the 2002/3 season now for £5 and pay only £50 for the Dinner/Dance?

London Irish Supporters’ club have block booked a number of rooms at The Millenium Madejski Hotel which adjoins the Conference Centre where the Dinner and Dance is being held.

 

Double Rooms are available at the special London Irish rate of £60 per room including Breakfast.

It could make a great weekend. Remember London Irish will be playing Gloucester in the Zurich premiership at the Madejski Stadium on Sunday 10th at 3pm.

 

Let’s see – Dine and dance to an Irish band on Saturday evening; Sunday morning a leisurely breakfast followed by coffee and the papers with fellow London Irish supporters. Around midday a stroll down to The Swan for a spot of lunch and a Guinness or two. Back to the stadium for a bit of Irish music in the North Stand or maybe a chat in the Jazz café. Then it’s 3pm and kick off time.
