MATCH PREVIEW -

STIRLING Vs STRANRAER

Stranraer today travel to the Forthbank Stadium to take on old friends, Stirling Albion.  Stranraer have not been over successful in recent years against the Bino's but today more than at any point in the last couple of seasons we could do with a win.

Neil Watt's men are in second position in the league, six points clear of Morton and with Ton' away at Brechin City today who themselves need a win to secure promotion this represents a real opportunity for Stranraer to put one foot in Division one.

In the Club's Weekly press release it's been confirmed that Neil Watt has a full strength squad to choose from and buoyed on by news this week that Assistant Manager , Stuart Millar is well on the way to recovery it is hoped that the players will respond.

The Bino's are without George Rowe and Scott McLean, but Chris Aitken returns from suspension and Stewart Devine is back in contention for a starting place. Controversial Bino Manager Allan Moore said this week that "Promotion has gone as far as we are concerned, but we'll be looking to make things difficult for Stranraer who can still win the title," said the wee chap.
