Initially i was disappointed to hear that The Blues second strings game with Albion Rovers was called off, i had an incling when i got off the train and was immediately confronted by neds with yellow and red shirts on asking me if i wanted my car minding.  "How can you mind my car if you are going to the match" i replied.  "Fawk Orf" was the response i got.  The fact that i didnt go by car didnt seem here nor there but such is life in this unique part of Glasgow where the yankee dollar is king.

Anyway after having my fears confirmed, i paid my cash and went in, bought a programme and had some great craic in the Albion Bar in the ground, yes i missed the first two goals but caught the rest.  Albion Rovers were a shadow of the team Stranraer had the beating of last season, East Fife even with pre-season Blues trialist Stephen Tardetti in the squad still managed to bang in six goals past a sorry looking Rovers side.  Get money on them banking the wooden spoon next season!

Anyway the night was not a total loss, six goals, 3 pints, £20 and 315 new friends made the night an 'experience'. Looking forward to Thursday now!
