Stranraer made hard work of a rescheduled match against bottom side East Stirling on Wednesday night. However, the win sees the Blues only one point behind Stirling Albion and nine points clear of third place Gretna.

The Blues went ahead in the 9th minute through a Michael Moore glancing header from a Lee Sharp cross.

East Stirling only took ten minutes to level the score when Darren Miller nipped in to the Stranraer box and headed home with a close range header.

Murray Henderson gave the Blues the lead again on the half-hour mark when he fired in a free-kick at the far post.

The second half was filled with frustration. Michael Moore squandered two great chances of increasing Stranraer's lead, but poor finishing let the top-scorer down.
