Trialists signing?

John Taylor has told the official site he wants to sign all 3 remaining trialists, and will sit down for talks with them after Tuesday's friendly with Millwall.
Trialists Omer Riza and Scott Eustace will sit down for talks with Shaggy after Tuesdays friendly with Millwall, while trialist keeper Martin Brennan will sign on non-contract terms for a year that won't cost the club a penny! How the club managed that I'll never know!

Fans will be encouraged by the news that Omer Riza could be with the club with again, his performances on a loan spell a couple of seasons ago made him a favourite among the Abbey faithful.

Scott Eustace will be a decent signing, depending on if he can keep fit and injury free. There were doubts over his fitness after spending a couple of seasons in semi-professional football, but he has proved his fitness over pre-season and there is certainly no doubt over his ability.

If all 3 are with the squad when the season starts, and we've signed a midfielder from somewhere, I'd say (with a bit of luck) we're in for a fairly decent season! Bring on the Darlo...
